Allen has over twenty years of tax, accounting and management consulting experience. He has served business clients ranging from sole proprietors to large privately owned companies with locations in multiple states. Industries served include construction accounting, retail accounting, quarries, farmers, agricultural industries and professionals. Prior to beginning his public accounting career, Allen was a loan officer at a local bank for over five years.
In addition to commercial clients, Allen has extensive experience auditing local government, non-profit organizations and educational institutions providing federal financial aid.
Allen has a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Springfield and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Western Illinois University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois CPA Society and The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce.
